The first ddLab Haute Couture & Sposa dress
When study becomes gesture, and gesture becomes promise. There are creations that aren't born to be shown immediately. They need silence . Time . Hands that learn to listen before even deciding.
This is my first Haute Couture and bridal dress by ddLab.
And before even being a dress, it was a passage.

After months of study, modeling, trial and error, and correction, I felt the time had come to put my learning into action.
Not to prove anything. But to see if what I'd learned could actually become a language.
A dress as an exercise in truth
I didn't start with a "spectacular" idea.
I started with a simple and very difficult question:
How do you create a dress that doesn't overwhelm, but accompanies?
This first model was born like this.
From a clean, essential, almost suspended line.
A balance between structure and softness, between couture rigor and gentle breathing.
The one-shoulder dress isn't an aesthetic choice in and of itself: it's an asymmetrical gesture that speaks of delicate strength.
Drape originates from the body and returns to the body.
Nothing is imposed. Everything is accompanied.

The invisible work
There is a part of this dress that you cannot see .
And it's the most important one .
There is modelling studied centimetre by centimetre.
There are the canvases, the tests, the folds redone several times.
There are hands that learn to trust the fabric.
And time – real time – decides when to stop.
This is where training meets ethics.
This is where I understood that knowing how to do something is not enough : you need to know when to do it, how much to do it, and why .
A dress that doesn't scream
This is not a dress that seeks attention.
It's a dress that lasts.
It remains in the memory.
In the way it follows the movement.
In the way it leaves room for the person wearing it.

She is already married.
It's already evening.
It's already couture.
But above all it is dd Lab :
clean, poetic, respectful, never invasive.
Towards what is to come
This dress is not a point of arrival.
It's a threshold.
It is the first concrete step towards what, from 2026, will become dd Lab -
an intimate tailoring space, by appointment, where each dress is born from listening and not from imposition.
A place where you don't "choose a dress",
but a presence is built together.
A beginning, with kindness
Every time I look at this dress, I don't just see a silhouette.
I see respect for a profession.
The patience of study.
The responsibility of creating.

I see a promise kept.
And a new one, just whispered.
This is the first dress.
And there will never be just one.
