The idea of the " perfect dress " you find ready-made is an idea educated by quick images: trends, photos, lighting, standards that seem neutral but aren't. The problem isn't your body. The problem is that many clothes are designed to fit an abstraction, not a person.
And when a garment isn't made for you, you feel it. You feel it as you adjust your neckline. You feel it when you walk and tense up. You feel it especially afterward, when you put it in the closet and something inside says, " This doesn't represent me completely ."

Something important happens here: you start to think you have to change. Instead, you often need to change direction. You don't have to try to fit into a dress. It's the dress that has to learn to "fit" into your life.
