DDLab and Tuscany: villages, craftsmanship, and the magic of Fashion in Flair
Share
For me, Tuscany is a small, precious wonder: colors, flavors, slowly changing landscapes, villages suspended in time. It's the daily destination of my summers and of much of the house, and every time I arrive, I feel the breath of a new part of myself.
A land to love every day
I've traveled far and wide across Tuscany, discovering wonderful villages and cities that seem stuck in the past. And I love that the phone service isn't great there —a gentle invitation to unplug, experience what's around me, listen to the silence between the stones, and breathe in the authentic air.
I adore the generous nature, the good food (and wine!) of Tuscany. I love its authentic and peaceful way of life, and the unique, welcoming and sincere tone of speech.
Tuscan craftsmanship and ddLab
Tuscany is also a land rich in master craftsmen: hands that transform ideas into objects with loving care. Here, our bond grows stronger: I'm delighted to participate in Fashion in Flair , a market-exhibition dedicated to excellent craftsmanship that brings Lucca to life every autumn.
Fashion in Flair returns this year from October 3 to 5, 2025 , hosted in the evocative Real Collegio di Lucca : ancient atmospheres, tranquil cloisters, and rooms that exude history and care. The event is a showcase of fine Italian craftsmanship—clothing, accessories, home decor, jewelry, natural cosmetics, and excellent food and wine.
It is there that we often present our creations with quiet pride, among other expert hands, in a rhythm that slows down and truly brings the moment to life.
The beauty of detaching and meeting
Tuscany offers us the opportunity to stay connected to the present , far from the blinding pursuit of likes and rapid consumption. It's an invitation to rediscover the value of presence, of encounters, of authentic exchange . During those three days of Fashion in Flair, I remembered why I love what I do: not for the hype, but for the encounters, the quality, the care.
An open invitation
If you are in Tuscany at this time, I look forward to seeing you at the Real Collegio di Lucca, from October 3rd to 5th .
Come visit us, touch the pieces, and hear stories of fabrics, hands, and ideas. Bring with you your curiosity, the time to pause, and the desire to rediscover authentic beauty.
